Dumpers



These oldtimers are still operated in our mines.
Belaz factory has been operating more than 70 years. These old workhorses originate from Belarus and have kept our mines working for decades. Now their job is mostly done and new, bigger and more efficient dump trucks are doing their duties now. We hauled them locally between mines and the measures were 8m long, 4,1m wide and 4,1m tall, weighing at 35t









Compressor skidding in 2019



We collaborated in an international gas line construction project with companies from Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania and Estonia.
The task was to unload the 36ton compressor to our special skidding rails system and push the unit in to building with hydraulic jacks and lay it onto its foundation.
Customer was extremely satisfied that all work was done faster than planned and all exact manufacturers handling and site safety instructions had been followed.


Moving the walking excavator



Kaarlaid organized the movement of a walking excavator inside Narva quarry. The heaviest part was nearly 200 tons and the highest load 15m. The job was excecuted on time and saved the customer months worth of valuable uptime.









Yacht transport



Delivery of a 37m long and 6m high yacht from Paldiski to Saue. Special adjustable supports were designed and built for safe loading of the cargo.









Flash tank transport



Delivery of a flash tank from Estonia to Finland. Weighing at 50 tons, 8m wide and drive height over 7m, careful route preparation works and were done in order for safe delivery to construction site.









Historic vessel transport

Kaarlaid OÜ was awarded with the transport of an ancient vessel found in Kadriorg to its final destination to Estonian Maritime Museum. The vessel, named “Peeter”, which was discovered during excavation works for new property in old Tivoli site is dated back to 14-17 century. For transportation it was placed in a special frame, making the overall width of the load 7 meters.

Salvage of an airplane



The plane crash-landed near the Tallinn airport. A temporary road had to be built in order to access the plane with transport equipment. The wings were dismantled and the plane was delivered in two pieces. The overall height of the body section was 11m.

House modules to Finland




The house consisted of 4 main modules, each over 6m wide and 6m high. The distance was over 1000km and the modules were placed with trailers to their installation place with a pinpoint accuracy.
